Wedding Traditions = Tossing the Bouquet
One of the greatest moments during the reception has got to be the "tossing of the bouquet." Single women gather behind the bride in hopes that she will be the lucky one. All the while the Bride turns her back to the women and tosses her bouquet up into the air. As it flies gracefully though the air, the bride turns around to see who will be the lucky one. Although this is a great tradition, why not change it up a bit. Wrap about 10-12 flower stems loosly with ribbon, and before you toss it into the air, untie the ribbon so that as you throw the bouquet, flowers will go every which direction and more than one single lady will have flowers. If you would like to go one step further, attach fortunes to each stem!
